Jurassic Park-Michael Crichton
You've seen the movie and it is great, but the book is better. (Aren't they always?) More dinosaurs, more peril, more everything! Read it. It shouldn't take you more than a few hours because once you start you will not put it down.
Raptor Red-Robert Baaker
Paleontologist Baaker wrote a great novel about the life of dinosaurs. It's kinda like "Watership Down" only with flesh rendering Utahraptors instead of bunnies. Cute, huh? Great reading. Also check out The Dinosaur Heresies by Baaker. It is one of the finest biology books you will ever read.
